Free Limited Edition Christmas LEGO Set 3300020 & More

Looks like LEGO is feeling very generous this autumn. First there is the double VIP points up for grabs when you buy selected sets and now they gone and added this fantastic looking Limited Edition Christmas LEGO Set thrown in, for purchases of £50 or more. As if that wasn't enough, one gets a free delivery as well with an order that reaches the £50 mark. Feels like Christmas has come early for the LEGO fan. Time to get the LEGO Village Post Office Set I've been planning on getting since it was released earlier this month.
Don't wait around too long before grabbing this offer because it only lasts until the end of the month, or when stock runs out so not long to go.
In case you miss this, don't dispair because in November, when LEGO holds the 'Brick' Friday weekend, there will be a second set to collect.

Happy shopping!!

Free LEGO Toys from The Sun

LEGO Brand Retail

In May, The Sun newspaper run a free LEGO campaign for 7 days for its UK and Northern Ireland readers. They gave some fantastic models and those who got them will attest to this. Well, guess what? Its back already and from Saturday the 8th of October, 2011, all LEGO fans in the UK and NI can start collecting them again for the next 7 days. One for each day and runs till Saturday the 14th of October, 2011.
The Saturday paper is only 60 pence and the weekday ones are 30 pence each so even if you don't read newspapers, for the models alone its well worth it to grab one. These models cannot be bought from shops so this is your one and only chance to get yours with 'The Sun'.
Each day, from the dates above, a voucher is printed in the sun newspaper which you will use to redeem the particular model of the day. They can only be redeemed from WHSmith and Toys R Us stores and for Northern Ireland residents, Smiths Toys stores are also included. For Londoners, WHSmith Stores at Charing Cross, Victoria, King's Cross, Euston, St. Pancras, Waterloo, Paddington, and Marylebone train stations will also be giving out these models just in case you can't get one from your local.
From what I hear the first one on Saturday is the LEGO Star Wars Star Destroyer so there's a teaser for you.

Each month since 2009, LEGO has been holding a hands-on mini model build event in LEGO stores. This event is held on the first Thursday of every month and the LEGO fan or enthusiast can learn how to build a mini model and take it home for free. This month's mini model build was the LEGO Dracula Mini Model by a LEGO fan.
You can learn how to build this model from the comfort of your home by following the instructions available via download from LEGO or the link below. Be aware this is only available for a limited time.
Download the building instructions

If you can't get to your local LEGO store for some reason, you can always build the Mini Model at home because LEGO posts the instructions online and you can use the pieces you have or order what you need from LEGO Pick a Brick Store.

LEGO Winter Scene Series

The LEGO Winter Village Post Office set #10222 is out! This is set marks a continuation of the LEGO Winter Scene Series. This one is as great as the previous ones. So far, I've managed to get the Bakery set so this year, this set is a must. My new mission to buy each set in the Winter Scene Sets that will be released. The price as usual is reasonable as this set is not a very large set. In fact it measures 15” (40cm) wide and 11” (30cm) deep, in total.
This one features, as the name suggests, a main Village Post Office building, but there are also a gazebo and the post car full of gifts ready to be delivered. There are 7 minifigures with this set and assorted minifigure accessories. The whole set has a very nice colour scheme and the setting has all the Christmas feeling to it. Have a look at the picture below
Here are the prices they are currently going for US $59.99 | UK £49.99 |CA $79.99 | DE €59.99.
