Can you build your own Mini LEGO Model?

Each month since 2009, LEGO has been holding a hands-on mini model build event in LEGO stores. This event is held on the first Thursday of every month and the LEGO fan or enthusiast can learn how to build a mini model and take it home for free. This month's mini model build was the LEGO Scarecrow by a fan.
You can learn how to build this model from the comfort of your home by following the instructions available via download from LEGO or the link below. Be aware this is only available for a limited time until Tuesday, 13th of September 2011.

If you can't get to your local LEGO store for some reason, you can always build the Mini Model at home because LEGO posts the instructions online and you can use the pieces you have or order what you need from LEGO Pick a Brick Store.

Would you like to design your own?
This month, the LEGO store Mini Model Contest is back and LEGO is looking for a new mini model for September 2012. The instructions are that, it should be something that represents the month of September, and is made of 25-40 LEGO pieces. What you do is simply send a printed photo of the model you build  to your local LEGO Store and complete an entry form.
Time to bring out your creative side hidden inside!
